The individual that you will work with is an artist and would like to convert his garage space into a working art studio.
He will need assistance with the cleanout of the space, possibly upgrade of the space (details to follow) such as painting of walls, etc.
and then arranging the space to create positive work flow and a calm, welcoming environment in which the individual can work and display his artwork for sale.
The selected candidate will work side by side with this gentleman to guide him to do many of these tasks with full support, assisting him as needed while allowing independence.
Job responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
-patience with the individual at all times (he tends towards long pauses before answering or following directions) -ability to lift 50lbs -light construction skills such as painting, labor, flooring, creating storage and shelving -good organizational skills Requirements -prior experience in the field of Human Services -Valid Driver's License -flexible schedule.
Job hours will be determined by agreement with the family.
